Join The Book Club at The Feminist Bookshop!

You'll receive a title that the bookshop team has selected for us to read together. We'll also include a specially designed bookmark and postcard with our favourite quotes and reasons for choosing the title.

You can also sign up to come to The Bookclub which takes place at the bookshop in Brighton where we'll have the chance to share reflections and responses to the book.

We'll alternate between fiction (odd months) and non-fiction (even months).

Your package will be shipped / ready for collection at the beginning of the month. The book club will then take place on the last Wednesday of the month.

Also, please note that we cannot offer returns, refunds or swaps if you have read or already own the book on any chosen month, but you can offer your book and/or spot to a friend if you would like.

We can't wait to see you there!

Please note the in person book club for May is now full. However you can still sign up to receive May's book if you register by 30th April and select the "Excluding Book Club Entry" option.

Join our Poetry Bookclub at the bookshop!

Each month we will be reading a poetry collection before meeting to discuss it with a particular political theme in mind. Meetings will consist of discussing the collection in the context of the theme, before having a short time to allow the group to reflect and, if they would like to, write a response to the conversation, and also to share their own/other works that they feel address that month’s theme.

The month’s selected poetry collection plus entry to the discussion will be included in the subscription. We'll also include a specially designed card with our reasons for choosing the title.

The aim is to make poetry as accessible as possible - regardless of your familiarity with this genre. Poetry might be taking a big chunk of your bookshelves or you might just want to diversify your reading list and try something new. Everyone is welcome.
